ANJALI HOOD
Anjali Hood textiles family was the first to manufacture velvet in India in 1955, so she's had a love affair with velvet ever since childhood. When it came to decorating her home, she couldn’t find quality printed velvet cushions that she liked and decided to try her hand at print design, using feathers as her inspiration starting point. With so many beautiful patterns and colors in the avian world, she decided to concentrate on birds’ plumage exclusively. While studying their gorgeous ornamentation and effortless grace, she developed a passion about conserving bird habitats and endangered species. Taking a cue from nature, she employs the color palettes of bird species to add warmth and comfort to living spaces with exclusive designs printed onto luxury cotton velvet that adds a layer of refinement and elegance to your home.
