ABIGAIL BORG set up her studio in 2009, inspired by her love for illustration, color and pattern. She takes pride in running a small independent studio, which allows her to build personal relationships with customers, stockists and suppliers. All of her products are very proudly printed and manufactured in England. This allows her to work closely with the coloration and production teams to ensure the highest quality, color matching and expert craftsmanship. She was awarded ‘Best British Pattern 2010’ by Elle Decoration at The British Design Awards and her clients range from Laura Ashley Home, Crabtree & Evelyn, and Aveeno to Johnson & Johnson.
"I’ve always loved flowers, nature, anything organic. We were encouraged to set away from florals during University, as everybody designed with them and we were told to develop our own individual styles. I’ve always loved vintage and Arts & Crafts design, so on designing my final collection decided to delve deeper into the workings of archival designs. This was when I decided to hand draw all of my work, and concentrate mostly, but not exclusively, on florals."
